Greetings from San Francisco, California! My name is Jami Florendo and I get the great opportunity to disciple and work with students at San Francisco State University located in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. San Francisco is known for its innovation and challenging status quo. I grew up in a Christian church, but only fully surrendered my life to Jesus when I moved to the USA. When I started volunteering at campus outreaches in San Francisco I was struck with a greater revelation of God’s grace and calling on my life. God moved my heart for college students during a campus conference in 2014. It was in 2016 when I joined the church internship program focused mainly on on-campus ministry and eventually attended Every Nation School of Campus Ministry.
At Every Nation Campus (ENC) we desire to make disciples in four steps: Engage the campus, Establish biblical foundations, Equip students to minister, and Empower students to minister. Simple, but effective. My focuses include discipleship, worship, leadership, and evangelism. It’s challenging, adventurous, exciting, and somewhat nerve-racking, but I’m honored to have this position!
Thank you for joining me on this mission!
