Our family’s 14-year mission in Vietnam is complete, but the relationships we made are eternal. The church is strong, and God has spoken to us about a new mission field as a couple. After a season of prayer, exploration, and hearing from God, we strongly believe He is leading us to a land that brings the images of heavy winter attire. We are on course for the nation of Iceland. We have already scouted the land and met with an EN Icelandic couple with whom we will partner in the ministry.
Our mission of reaching the lost, making disciples, raising leaders, and helping plant a church will be the same as it was when we were in Vietnam. However, we must lay the early groundwork of learning a new culture, strategizing effective methods of sharing the Gospel, and increasing our financial support as the cost of living is high in Iceland.
