My name is Tom Breckwoldt, and I serve as a campus missionary with Every Nation Churches & Ministries, Student Pastor at Lake Mary Church, and a member of the Executive Team for Every Nation Campus North America. I am blessed to be married to my beautiful wife, Ashley, and together we have three amazing children: Tommy, Hannah, and JJ.
Our heart is simple: to share the gospel and make disciples until every student hears.
In August 2013, God called me out of a successful career in the fitness industry to pursue full-time ministry. What began with a burden to reach students in our city has grown into a movement of discipleship, leadership development, and missions that extends far beyond Central Florida.
Today, our ministry reaches students across nineteen schools every week, from middle schools and high schools to college campuses. Through campus outreach, after-school devotions, small groups, and intentional discipleship, we have witnessed more than 15,000 students make decisions to follow Jesus. We have also had the privilege of sharing the hope of the gospel with hundreds of young people in the Seminole County Detention Center.
Over the years, God has opened doors to establish student ministries at every stage of life. In 2013, we launched Student Warriors Awakening Generations (SWAG), our high school ministry. In 2016, we launched Student Warriors Arising Together (SWAT), reaching middle school students. In January 2017, we officially launched Every Nation Campus at our local universities.
But our vision has never been simply to reach students. It is to raise up disciples who will reach others.
Through our student-led ministry teams, hundreds of young people are being discipled each year, equipped to lead, and empowered to share their faith. We are now seeing the fruit of that investment extend into the nations. Five former students are serving in other countries where we are beginning to establish new ministries. What God started in our local schools is now helping carry the gospel around the world.
Beyond the classroom, God has given us a heart to reach young people through sports and inner-city ministry. Through My Game His Glory, we use athletics as a platform to build relationships, mentor young people, develop character, and introduce them to Jesus. Whether on a football field, in a gym, in an underserved neighborhood, or on a school campus, our mission remains the same: to reach the next generation and help them discover their God-given purpose.
In addition to our campus and sports ministries, Ashley and I have answered God's call to become foster parents. We have had the privilege of welcoming babies into our home, including children born into difficult circumstances involving substance exposure or families unable to care for them. This journey has given us an even deeper understanding of the Father's love and the incredible difference that love can make in a child's life.
None of this happens alone. It happens through the faithfulness of God and the generosity of people like you who believe in reaching the next generation.
