A business trip to Dubai in the year 2000 transformed my life. It marked my conversion from a Muslim born and raised in Iran into a follower of Jesus. After hearing God's call to ministry, I became a member of an underground church planting team in Tehran, Iran, in 2001. I pastored Iranian believers for a decade under oppressive government conditions.
After experiencing persecution and imprisonment for my faith, my family (my wife and two children) and I fled to Malaysia in 2012. We lived there as refugees for seven years. Although it was a trialing season, we served the Lord unceasingly in Every Nation Church Malaysia.
By His faithfulness, we were resettled in the United States in 2019. I currently serve as a Cross-Cultural Missionary at All Saints Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Lord has now orchestrated for me to respond to the 10-year-awaited calling He gave me: to share the good news of Jesus to Muslims in Central Asia. My mission is to spread the word, plant churches, and equip local disciples to become leaders in their regions.
Many people groups in Central Asia are still to be reached with the gospel, and I believe that it can flip their lives around, just like it did for mine. Jesus has promised us that as we go and make disciples of all nations, He is with us! Let us GO!
