I am the pastor of Grace Covenant Church (Alliance de Grâce) in Lille, France. I was a pastor’s kid born in South Korea. My family transferred to Argentina in 1988, to serve the Lord, and I grew up in Buenos Aires. I came to Paris, France, in 2003 for architectural studies at the university.
It is in Paris that my wife and I received the call from God to serve in full-time ministry amongst college students in Paris. We served as pastors in that calling for 10 years.
Currently, my family (son) Ouizon, (daughter) Onnezon, (wife) Sooji, and I live in the city of Lille, in the north of France. We serve an amazing local church that is multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational. We are a French speaking body of believers comprised of many ethnicities, nationalities, and cultures of the world.
Our passion has always been to be close to people, to experience deep relationships with people, and to help others live in the community of God. Our ministry is focused on building a church that helps people grow in their relationship with God, live in authentic relationship with the Body of Christ, and make disciples to expand the Kingdom of God throughout the world.
God gave us a heart for France, and we are so grateful to serve Him in this country. We believe that the Lord has called us to France and currently to Lille not only to be blessed but to be a blessing to many in this city, across the country of France, and throughout Europe and beyond.
We believe that God trains and prepares future leaders by raising up our next generation to continue expanding His kingdom until the Lord’s return. Therefore, we are committed to training Christ-centered leaders who can continue to serve the house of God.
We pray that God will use my family and this church to reach many students, young professionals, and families to make disciples who will go on to make more disciples.
We are truly grateful for your partnership so that we can bless the people of this city and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
God bless you!
