My wife and I are excited to be the lead church planters in the city of Atlanta, known as the Hollywood of the south or The A. Our heart for this city stemmed from a simple place; people are moving into the city; therefore, the church should be moving into the city. Atlanta specifically has consistently grown by roughly 80,000 people per year with no signs of slowing down. Moreover, the metro area is expected to exceed 8.6 million people by 2050.
Atlanta is growing at an alarming rate and currently is the 9th largest metro city in the US, with over 6.1 million people. There are over 29 college campuses surrounding the metro area, and its main school district serves approximately 52000 students. Therefore, we felt like Atlanta was a strategic location to plant a local church. We believe the Lord has sent our family to share the gospel, make disciples, and see a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, multi-generational, and multi- economical community built on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
