Since 1994, Every Nation missionaries and church planters have answered the call to bring the gospel to campuses and cities around the world. What started as a handful of churches has grown into a global family of churches. Our mission is to honor God by establishing Christ-centered, spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation.
Oksana Dews is our campus missionary at the University of Virginia. She serves with our Every Nation church, Victory Church of Charlottesville. On the university campus, Oksana has the opportunity to engage students with the gospel, establish them in the faith, and empower them to reach their communities.
“Being “college age” is such a pivotal time in our lives. For many people, it is the first time they are away from all the things that have informed their identity. It is the first time a person really begins to pick and choose who they are and who they are meant to be; and how awesome is it when they reveal their identity to Jesus? I believe that the next generation is on campus and that by impacting the lives of college students, we can change the world. As a college student, I wasn’t looking for people to put labels on me or push opinions on me; I was searching for truth and hope because I recognized the brokenness around me and was trying to make sense of it. I know that there are many others who are trying to do the same. Because of your partnership, I can walk alongside people as the Lord molds and transforms their hearts. And what a joy and honor it is! Thank you!”
