David & Megan Hermes moved to Denver, Colorado in June 2019 to plant Hope Valley Church. With a launch team of 25 adults & 15 kids from all over the world, they kicked off HVC with weekly “Coffee in Central Park” meetings in Summer 2019. They moved to a Sunday gathering at their townhouse in Fall 2019 and quickly outgrew the space. They started renting a historic church that was sitting empty downtown and their weekly prelaunch service, small groups & campus ministry are all growing as they prepare for a Fall 2020 launch!
God has birthed a dream in their heart of seeing a Christ-Centered, Spirit-Empowered, Socially Responsible church in downtown Denver that helps people KNOW, TRUST & FOLLOW Jesus. The heartbeat of HVC is campus ministry and as of Fall 2020, there will be four-campus ministers on campus at Metropolitan State University, the University of Colorado-Denver, and the University of Denver!
David & Megan have four children: Audrey (14), Abigail (11), David (9), and Emma (6), and a black lab, Penny. Thank you for your prayers and financial support as the Hermes family ministers in Denver!
