Coming into my freshman year of college, my identity was wrapped up in many things and I felt stuck in my sin. I didn’t have a purpose and didn’t know who I was. For the first time at an ENC event, I was filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered to be a witness and fight sin. Since then, I’ve never felt more included by a group of people or gripped by their mission.
After wading through many entrepreneurial ideas and business interviews during my four years of college, God finally began to reveal the work that he wanted me to do. Soon after graduating in May 2021, I began interning with Every Nation on Texas Tech’s campus. Through engaging students with the gospel, establishing biblical foundations, equipping and empowering them to live their faith, I saw lives change in front of my eyes. A deep conviction was born to be a part of God’s movement on the college campus. His heart for the next generation has been so evident, and I LOVE how He allows us to invite others to play a part in bringing his Kingdom to earth!
God is now calling me into full-time campus ministry, where I’ll continue to build community and make disciples with Story Church at Texas Tech. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Thousands of students are desperate for community and are in need of a savior.
Thank you for being a part of it. Thank you for making it possible.
