Jomel, most people call him Joms. is a campus missionary in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It's his passion to preach the gospel, journey with it, and help students continuously walk with God. That desire and passion were planted in him in 2011 when he attended a student conference in the Philippines, organized by Every Nation Campus (ENC), formerly known as LifeBox. He wasn't a Christian back then, but God used Lifebox and that Conference to reveal Himself to Him. Eventually, he surrendered his life to God and to His purpose and will. God has changed him from the inside out, and he has never been the same since. He was living with no purpose or direction during his college days; He was so lost. But when God found him, the desire to reach out to students arose. He knows that there's a lot of lost students out there who need to hear the gospel of Jesus, the only One who could save them and give them eternal hope. His heart burns for the next generation because he believes that they are the future leaders of Canada and the whole world. He answered the call to full-time ministry back in June of 2022, and he’s currently serving at University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) and at his local church, Every Nation Church Mississauga, as a full-time campus minister.
