I was only in my second year of college and things had not been going well. I had just gotten out of a four-year relationship, my dad had just gone back to jail, I had lost friends, was drinking, partying, doing drugs, skipping classes, and had decided I was going to live coldhearted. At that very low point in my life, my neighbors invited me to go to ENC Jacksonville, and that’s when God’s loving kindness appeared to me and He saved me by His grace and mercy. He drew me out from the pit of despair, redeemed my life, healed my soul, changed my heart, renewed my mind, and my life is completely different.
Three years later and God has called me to an internship with ENC Jacksonville, with a specific focus on the campus I graduated at, the University of North Florida (UNF). After becoming a Christian, I would look around campus and see the multitudes of students who were like me before Christ. It broke my heart that these students are lost, hurting, and without God. Our heart-cry at ENC is for every person at UNF to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, to believe, and have eternal life. I’m going to be on campus proclaiming the gospel, discipling students, and preparing them to change the world!
