I am serving as a campus ministry intern with Southpoint Community Church through Every Nation. God transformed my life as a student at the University of North Florida. Before I came to college, I didn’t have a real relationship with Jesus. Once I got involved in Every Nation Campus (ENC) and Southpoint, my relationship with Jesus became personal. God has changed my temper and helped me to feel my emotions, given me a positive outlook on life, and has been my strength at my weakest moments.
As a campus ministry intern, I will be with students from the University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, and Florida State College at Jacksonville. I plan to:
- Engage students with the gospel.
- Establish them with the word, their faith, and community
- Equip them for ministry
- Empower them to minister the gospel and make disciples
We will accomplish this mission through:
- One to one discipleship
- Leading a life group and helping college students lead theirs
- Equipping and empowering students to serve at ENC nights
- Leading students in GodTest evangelism
God has been moving so much on the campuses. He is genuinely transforming hearts. You and I can be a part of this journey. Together we can witness the transformation and the power of the gospel in each of the students’ lives.
