Don grew up in a Buddhist family in a small town in the South of Thailand. As a young Thai man who was from a broken home and living on his own at the age of 15, Don knew what hopelessness felt like, but God through His grace brought Don to a local Thai church during a dark time in his life. And through the leading of the church, Don was able to experience the forgiveness and love of our Heavenly Father and become the first Christian in his family. Today, there are an additional 5 members of his family that have come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ through Don’s testimony.
Don witnessed personally the importance of the church in discipling the next generation and raising up Thai leaders to share the gospel to the over 65 million Thais who are still living in hopelessness. For this reason, God has called Don and his wife, Lulu, back to Thailand as missionaries to plant Thai churches. It is the vision that God has given them to plant Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered and Socially-responsible churches and campus ministries throughout the nation of Thailand – initially starting in the capital city of Bangkok.
Currently, less than 1% of the population of Thailand profess to be Christians. This is a statistic that Don and Lulu strive to change, and with the support of partners standing with them, the nation of Thailand will be impacted for the Gospel.
