Hi! We are Blaze and Anne Marie Lynn. We have two daughters, Leila and Evelyn ages 2 and 8 months. We have been married for over 5 years and full-time campus missionaries for almost as long.
Blaze got saved at UNT during his sophomore year when a pastor approached him one day while he was eating lunch on campus. He asked Blaze some thought-provoking questions about God, eternity, and his beliefs. That day, Blaze gave his life to the Lord. Since then, we were extremely involved in our campus ministry as students. God had been putting full-time ministry on Anne Marie's heart since before we got married. We started praying about what God's plans were for us after graduation. Blaze could not ignore the constant pull he felt toward campus ministry. On a short mission trip to the University of Texas in Austin, God confirmed the call to campus ministry. We could not picture ourselves doing anything else! We both graduated from the University of North Texas in 2017, Blaze in Mechanical Engineering and Anne Marie in Speech Pathology. We became full-time missionaries in 2018.
We have been working at UNT ever since with ENC (Every Nation Campus). Since having our girls, Anne Marie is not on the campus as often so that she can care for and spend time with them. However, she loves to help out when possible during the week. Blaze, has a heart for Greek Life having been involved in a fraternity as a student. We have a passion to make disciples who make disciples and equip students to reach their fellow classmates! Our focus is one on one discipleship, small groups targeted to specific groups on campus such as fraternities or dorm halls, weekly outreach on campus, praying for the campus, and training students to do the same.
In our spare time, you can find Blaze woodworking or running, and Anne Marie loves to read and cook. Leila is also a bookworm and could swing on swings for hours! Right now, Evelyn is just content being held and is a mama's girl.
