Although open to Christian missionaries, only two percent of Japan's population claim Christianity as their faith, making it the largest un-evangelized nation in the world that's not closed to the gospel. In this country of more than 125 million people, the situation on campuses is more dire — the total number of Christian students in Japan is estimated at a staggering 0.1 percent.
Six Every Nation churches minister to the people of Japan, from Sapporo on the island of Hokkaido in the north to the teeming metropolitan areas of greater Tokyo, where one-third of Japan's university students are enrolled.
The Japan Outreach Fund exists to assist in reaching the people of this great nation for Christ, furthering the three-fold ministry of Every Nation Churches & Ministries through church-planting, campus ministries, and world missions.
