For the past several years, we have been reaching students at the National University of San Marcos. This university is known for being the first on the American continent as well as the only university that has functioned uninterruptedly since its foundation. It shows how well the students have maintained the university and the impact they have on their community.
Because of its significance, along with being close to two other highly recognized universities, we believe that God is calling us to plant a church to serve these students, the community, and the surrounding families. We desire to have a place where we can be a center for all students, have auditoriums for our services, and have offices to support small groups, baptisms, and campus meetings.
San Marcos is also a university where exchange students come from all over the world. We believe that by planting this church, we can impact not only Peruvians but also foreign students and raise up students who will make disciples of other students.
