Since 1994, Every Nation missionaries and church planters have answered the call to bring the gospel to campuses and cities around the world. What started as a handful of churches has grown into a global family of churches. Our mission is to honor God by establishing Christ-centered, spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation.
Emmanuel Mgbahurike is our campus missionary at Savannah State University and Savannah College of Art and Design. He serves with our Every Nation church, Rise Up Church. On the university campus, Emmanuel has the opportunity to engage students with the gospel, establish them in the faith, and empower them to reach their communities.
My vision for the campus is to see students encounter Jesus and shift the culture in Savannah. I envision a Savannah State University and SCAD with Jesus in the hearts and minds of every student. Specifically, I envision establishing discipleship rhythms with students - establishing them in biblical foundations and equipping them to make disciples of Jesus. Also, reaching students who are lost and creating spaces where they can bring their curiosity about God and have the chance to receive the gift of salvation.
