Mabuhay, my name is "Babes" for real and I'm born on Valentine's day. Being born in a very poor family of 7 children and finding out early on that my mom tried to abort me, I've always struggled hard finding acceptance and purpose for my life. I've always wondered whether I was just an accident and have lived a very tiring life of trying to please people I've met. Until a friend of mine in the university invited me to church and asked if I want a personal relationship with Jesus.
I've never felt so alive, so loved and accepted than the minute I walked in and heard the message about God's unconditional love. It was a very small church of about 30 students, even our pastor was a student, yet they are all so on fire, radical and passionate with their relationship with God. And that's the moment I knew where I can totally fling my life into- God's purpose for the next generation! I never looked back since then, and from a group of 30 radical students, I've seen Every Nation Los Baños grew from the basement to now having our own center on the 5th floor reaching 10% of our university. And I never realized that was just the beginning of witnessing what God can do to a group of students totally willing to surrender their lives to Him.
I've served as a campus missionary mostly in Asia and have had the great privilege of co-laboring with the church planting team in EN Kenya for a few months. To date, our current mission field is in London right at the very heart of Imperial College. We long to see revival in this continent and we can't wait to co-labor with you in preaching the gospel in a now post Christian society of Europe. Maraming Salamat!
