Jessica and I moved to Chicago a few years ago so I could pursue my coursework in the Pastoral Studies program at the Moody Bible Institute. During our time here, God has given a passion to reach the university campuses with the Gospel. Currently, I serve as an intern with Every Nation at Second City Church in the heart of downtown Chicago.
Our church mission statement:
Winning the lost, making disciples, and training leaders that establish Christ-honoring churches that multiply in the city of Chicago and the nations.
As an intern here are a few of the ways I am partnering in ministry with Second City Church:
· I work closely with our campus missionary in our collegiate ministry.
· I help lead our weekly outreach efforts to the various campuses in the city.
· I lead a bi-monthly men’s discipleship group in the church.
· I teach our weekly biblical foundations class in rotation with the pastors.
· I lead our Financial Peace University class.
I am growing in my calling as a pastor and actively learning what it means to shepherd, teach, train, and disciple others to obey Jesus and dynamically walk with God.
