Sam, Imee, and their three children serve as cross-cultural missionaries in the Himalayan and South Caucasus Regions (2011–present). Prior to their call to full-time ministry, Sam was working as a national consultant for several country development projects with the World Bank, ADB, EU, JBIC, UN, and USAID and was also a member of the technical working group committee for the ASEAN Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed, while Imee, an interior designer professional, was working as the vice president of her interior design firm.
They heard the call after doing short-term outreach missions in Nepal (2006, 2008, 2009). From 2011 to 2016, they went on full-time missions, and together with their team, they planted the church, raised 100% Nepali leaders, and served the Nepalis in Kathmandu. When the massive M7.8 and M7.2 earthquakes hit Nepal in 2015, they led the humanitarian work, which served 14,000 Nepalis in 11 provinces and 111 villages by distributing 43 metric tons of food, medicine, clothing, and shelter materials.
Currently, they continue to honor God, make disciples, and demonstrate the love of Jesus to Armenians in Yerevan, Armenia, by reaching out to the campuses, families, and business community, reminding them about their religious heritage as the first Christian country in the world and that they need to go back to the Lordship of Christ and be totally dependent on Him. They also conducted humanitarian work during the COVID-19 global pandemic and the Armenia-Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijan wars by distributing food, medicine, and clothing to three provinces and through three universities where they were serving and conducting art workshops for refugee women and children.
Thank you for your partnership! Together, we can reach more Armenians and other internationals to be raised as future leaders, and one day, Armenia will also be the nation reaching out to its neighboring creative-access nations.
