I grew up in a Christian home but in late middle school I felt like what I was taught in the church didn’t align with what I saw in the world around me. It caused inner conflict and confusion and I needed to know who God was for myself.
This prompted me to seek God and was followed by spiritual attacks and through that, learning the power of Jesus. Now, I am able to serve my alma mater Mary Baldwin University which is in Staunton, Virginia. Mary Baldwin has pockets of faith that are not diversified. People need to feel like they don’t have to look a certain way to be able to worship God. And for those who don’t yet know God, I want them to see themselves in our Every Nation community or feel accepted no matter what their background is.
I want to see salvations and truth break free, and communities built on God. I’ll be leading small group Bible studies, evangelizing, and praying. Another thing I’ll focus on is empowering other students on campus to be able to lead as well. To be able to unify on a mission for God is such a blessing in and of itself!
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” Psalm? ?133:1? ?ESV??
Thank you for partnering with me as I submit to God that His will may be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. I couldn’t do this without you!
