Ashley was reached with the gospel in her third year at Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvallis, Oregon. Upon graduating with three degrees in four years, she served as a campus missionary for four years at OSU. If you ask her, the last thing she ever imagined doing was campus ministry - but her heart broke for those on campus who were just like her and had never heard the Gospel before. The Lord has only continued to break her heart for the lost and to advance His kingdom.
In summer 2023, Ashley will move to Edinburgh, Scotland, with a long-term view to serve our churches and campus ministries across Europe. Ashley will serve as the Director of Campus Ministry at the University of Edinburgh, Church Growth Coordinator, and Missions Director with Centrepoint Church, Scotland. Through her roles, she will also develop tools and resources and train new missionaries that are raising their partnership teams, both locally and across Europe.
After her first mission trip to Edinburgh in 2018, Ashley felt called to the Nations. There was something specifically about this call involving Edinburgh, but I knew this would all take place in the Lord's timing. Through her time and experience as a campus missionary and MPD coach in the U.S., God grew her heart and vision for ministry in Europe, and now she has answered God's call to go to the nations.
Ashley is committed to sharing the gospel and making disciples that make disciples. She is thrilled to share the gospel with students at the University of Edinburgh who may have never heard it before, encouraging them to go deeper into the love of God and sharing the way God changed her life with others. She is excited to now call Edinburgh her home and looks forward to all God has in store for this city and nation.
