Hi friends! My life was flipped and fulfilled by Jesus when I was a student at Oregon State University. It all started when a friend reached out and invited me to an Easter Sunday service at the local Every Nation church in town. It was this invitation that led me to open my heart to Jesus. That Sunday's Easter service was just the beginning of my journey and relationship with Christ. With each additional step of saying “yes” to God’s plans for my life, I realized that the desire and heart for service that I felt in my heart were truly more than just a personality trait. These gifts are a unique way for me to engage with others and share the gospel with students who (like me) are broken, lost, and in search of a greater purpose for life.
My involvement with the ENC chapter and Grace City family in Corvallis, Oregon, led me to serve on a Ten Days trip to Vancouver, BC, Canada. While I was serving there, my heart broke for the students, while at the same time I felt deep hope that a revival would come on the campuses in Vancouver. I was blessed with the opportunity to go back and serve alongside the campus team for six weeks in the summer of 2022. Once again, God broke my heart for the students walking in darkness, many not even knowing the name of Jesus and the hope that he brings.
Now, I get to serve full time as a campus missionary at Simon Fraser University and Langara College in Vancouver, BC, Canada. This is a unique mission field, filled with students from all nations that are curious and trying to navigate who they are and who they want to become. What better opportunity for Jesus to come in and change their lives!
To my partners, thank you. I pray that this gratitude is never taken lightly because without you, this mission would not be possible. It is a miracle that we get to do this together.
